I’m getting to like this competition. How many times do you find the right contest for what you are writing only to find the deadline is the next day. It won’t happen here; Bath Flash Fiction Award is a rolling competition, each award ends at 1000 entries. It’s good odds and a good prize for the entry fee and the word count. This is an international competition.

Word limit: 300 words

Prizes: 1st – £1000, 2nd – £300, 3rd – £100, also 2 commendations.

Entry fee: members £4.00, non-members £6.00

Each award ends at 1000 entries. There is no deadline date.

The award is run by the same organiser as the Bath Short Story Award and will be judged by  Annemarie Neary, multiple award wining short story writer with two novels due out soon (go Annemarie). Judging takes place quickly, with a top prize of £1000. At the close of each competition, the next competition begins.
